GREEN SMOKY EYE – MAKEUP LOOK

Hello! It has been a busy six or so days, but I try to keep up in here too :) Here is a makeup look from last week! I used Isadora’s eyeshadow quartets on my eyes and Rimmel’s new Brow this way products on my brows. I have only used Brow this way brow gel and highlighting pencil for those purposes for a week now. So far me likey! Isadora’s new Gloss Glacé 3-D mirror shine lip glosses have become a stable too on my work look. And the colors of them <3 But yeah, I’m going to sleep now, because I’m suppose to wake up at 5am tomorrow to get to work. Ohh I almost forgot,  if you have any stable Clinique’s skincare favorites, please let me know them on the comments below! I’m renewing my whole skin care routine, so I would really appreciate, if you would help me out by telling your favorites! :) And now bye bye!

Moikka! Viimeiset kuusi tai seitsemän päivää ovat olleet kyllä niin kiireisiä, että huh huh. Koitan kuitenkin kirjoitella kiireestä huolimatta tännekkin :) Tässä olisi yksi meikkilookki viime viikolta! Luomillani käytin Isadoran luomiväri nelikoita ja kulmissani Rimmelin uusia Brow this way tuotteita. Olen käyttänyt kulmavahana Brow this way kirkasta kulmavahaa jo viikon putkeen, samoin kuin saman sarjan kulmaluun korostuskynää. Tähän saakka voin sanoa vain, että tykkään kovasti! Isadoran uusista Gloss Glacé 3-D mirror shine huulikiilloista on myös tullut tasainen suosikki työlookissa. Ja ne sävyt <3 Mutta kuitenkin nyt mun täytyy mennä nukkumaan, koska huomenna olisi herätys viideltä aamulla töihin. Ainiin, unohdin jo melkeen kysästä teiltä tätä. Eli jos teillä on jotain pitkäaikaisia Cliniquen ihonhoito tuotteita, arvostaisin kovasti jos kertoisitte niistä mulle kommenteissa. Olen uusimassa koko ihonhoitotuote katraani, joten tästä syystä niitä kyselen :) Mutta nyt moikka!

Makeup look for work :) I was feeling like doing a smoky eyes, but it had to be proper for work too. So I used just a little bit of dark brown on the out of corners and lots of lighter colors to make this more suitable for daytime use. Btw it has been so much fun to do “full glam” makeups for work, because it is suitable for the work I do. And that’s how I can do more makeup looks for here too, because I use makeup more often now :) Me and this blog says JEJ, but my skin screams NOOOO! :p I have been having some issues with my skin lately, but hopefully it’s just something I use and not the amount of makeup I wear. Meikkilookkia töihin :) Mulla oli sellainen sumusilmät fiilis pari päivää sitten ja halusinkin vääntää sellaista meikkiä sitten töihin sopivaksi. Käytin vain vähän tumman ruskeaa ulkonurkkaan ja paljon vaaleaa glitteri luomiväriä lopulle luomelle tehdäkseni lookista enemmän soveltuvan päiväkäyttöön. Muuten, on ollut hauskaa kun työpaikallani on sallittua meikata kunnolla ja olen voinut joka päivä laittautua haluamallani tavalla! Ja sehän tarkoittaa myös enemmän meikkilookkeja tänne, koska meikkaan nykyään normaalia enemmän :) Minä ja blogi sanoo JEJ, mutta ihoni huutaa EIIIIIII! :p Lähiaikoina mulla onkin ollut ongelmia ihoni ”kukkimisen” kanssa, mutta toivottavasti se on vain jotain mitä käytän iholleni, eikä käyttämäni meikin määrä. Toivottavasti :) Kuvissa käyttämäni meikkituotteet löytyvät tunnettuun tapaan alempaa ja moikka taas seuraavaan kertaan asti :) – Mari

MAYBELLINE GEL EYELINER

Hi! Let’s talk little bit about my favorite eyeliner of all time :) I bought this, because 1. I needed a good eyeliner, 2. Jacklyn Hill has raved about this for years and 3. It was cheap. I bought this from ship’s tax free makeup shop and it only costed 8.90 euros! Normally it costs around 15 euros in Finland. Bargain I have to say :) I also ordered an eyeliner brush from Morphe Brushes couple weeks earlier to try this with. This needed time to get used to, but now when I now how it performs, it works like a dream! Look at that wing below <3

Moi! Puhutaampas hetki mun kaikkien aikojen lempi silmänrajaus tuotteesta :) Ostin tämän, koska 1. tarvitsin hyvän silmänrajaus tuotteen, 2. Jacklyn Hill kehui tätä maasta taivaisiin ja 3. se oli halpa. Ostin tämän laivalta tax free kaupasta ja siellä hinta tälle oli enään 8.90 euroa! Normaalisti maista tämähän maksaa 15 euron kieppeillä Suomessa. Hyvä kauppa ettenkö sanoisi :) Tilasin pari viikkoa ennen tämän ostoa tätä silmällä ajatellen Morphe Brushelta silmänrajaus siveltimen. Täytyy myöntää, että silmänrajaus tussiin tottuneena tämä vaati vähän totuttelemista, mutta nyt kun tiedän miten tämä toimii itselläni parhaiten, on tämä vaan paras silmänrajaus tuote ikinä! I normally use this with Morphe Brushes E38 and sometimes I do the wing with Morphe Brushes E11 (angled brow brush). The best brushes I have find so far to work with this gel liner. With this you just have to remember that little goes a long way and using too much product makes the liner look uneven.

Normaalisti käytän tätä Morphe Brushes E38 rajaussiveltimen kanssa ja joskus teen siiven myös Morphe Brushes E11 siveltimellä (vino kulmasivellin). Nämä ovat tähän saakka parhaimmat siveltimet, jotka olen löytänyt kyseiselle tuotteelle. Tämän kanssa täytyy vaan muistaa, että pieni määrä riittää todella pitkälle ja jos siveltimessä on liikaa tuotetta, on lopputulos röpelöinen ja epätasainen.

The products is Maybelline’s eyestudio lasting drama gel eyeliner 24H in the shade 01 black. This is so black, matte and it stays on forever! I haven’t got this to crack or smudge even once. It stays on like a glue. I don’t think this is waterproof, but it can fight against rain and it will last through a little raining. My absolutely favorite eyeliner of all time! :)

Tuotehan on siis Maybellinen eyestudio lasting drama gel eyeliner 24H värissä 01 black. Tämä on niin mustaa, pigmenttistä, mattaa ja se pysyy paikallaan ikuisesti! En ole kertaakaan saanut tätä halkeilemaan tai tuhriintumaan luomillani. Se pysyy paikallaan kuin liima. En usko, että tätä kaupitellaan vedenkestävänä, mutta mulla tämä on kyllä kestänyt sadettakin. Ehdottomasti mun kaikkien aikojen lemppari silmänrajaustuote! :)

Hello :) Here is the first springy look using my new Makeup Geek’s foiled eyeshadows! Look how shiny they look. I only used Makeup Geek’s eyeshadows on my eyes and the foiled eyeshadows I used are In the Spotlight (lighter) and Grandstand (darker). I love these foiled eyeshadows, because they are so pigmented and shiny! I’m thinking of even more intense shine, if I would have Mac’s Fix+ to wet my brush into. Maybe I have to buy that, when I’m going to Mac next time? Lately I have been also liking Maxfactor’s Pan Stick foundation (the one I’m wearing in these pictures), because it feels lighter on my face, but it still covers well. What do you guys think about this springy and shiny makeup look? :)

Moikka :) Tässä olisi ensimmäinen keväinen kurkkaus Makeup Geekin foiled luomiväreihin! Katsokaa nyt tuota kimallusta. Käytin silmissäni ainoastaan Makeup Geekin luomivärejä ja käyttämäni foiled luomivärit ovat In the Spotlight (vaaleampi) ja Grandstand (tummempi). Rakastan erityisesti näitä foiled luomivärejä, koska ne ovat niin pigmenttisiä ja kiiltäviä! Mietin tässä juuri miltäköhän nämä näyttäisivät, jos mulla olisi Macin Fix+ suihketta kastamaan siveltimiäni. Ehkä mun täytyy ostaa sellainen suihke, kun seuraavaksi pääsen Macin liikkeeseen? Lähiaikoina olen myös kovasti tykännyt Maxfactorin Pan stick meikkivoiteesta (käytin sitä juuri näissä kuvissa), koska se tuntuu kevyemmältä kasvoilla, mutta peittää silti hyvin. Mitäs te tykkäätte tästä kimaltavasta kevät lookista? :)
