FALL FIBES – MAKEUP LOOK

For the eye makeup I used mostly Makeup Geek’s eyeshadows and also some colors of bh cosmetics x shaaanxo palette. All the shadows, which I marked in the picture are blended in the high where the number is in the shape of the crease, except the numbers 6 & 7, which I putted on the whole lid area (not crease or top of it).

I used Makeup Geek’s Baby Face (number 1), Friend Zone (2) and Barcelona Beach (3) as transition shades. Then I added Brownie Point (4) in to the crease only and Mesmerized (5) directly under it. You really don’t need this many shadows to do flawless eye makeup, but I was just feeling it :) You could only use one to two transition shades and Brownie Points on the crease. That would be fine too. Then I added bhcosmetics x shaaanxo palette’s glittery brown shade (6) on to my lid area and Makeup Geek’s Anargy (7) on top of that. Then I highlighted my inner corners with In the Spotlight (8). And on the lower lashline I first putted Barcelona Beach (3) and Brownie Points (4) mixed together and then added some Corrupt (9) on the out of parts of the lower lashline. This sound like space science! :D

Silmämeikkiin käytin paljolti Makeup Geekin luomivärejä ja myös muutamaa sävyä bh cosmetics x shaaanxo paletista. Kaikki sävyt, jotka merkkasin kuvaan numeroilla, ovat levitetty ja häivytetty silmäluomen vaon muodon mukaan puolikuun mallisesti luomelle sille korkeudelle, jossa numero kuvassa on. Paitsi numerot 6 & 7 ovat laitettu koko luomelle (ei silmäluomen vakoon tai sen yläpuolelle).

Käytin Makeup Geekin sävyjä Baby Face (1), Friend Zone (2) ja Barcelona Beach (3) häivytyssävyinä crease alueen yläpuolella. Sitten lisäilin Brownie Point (4) sävyä vain crease alueelle eli sinne silmäluomen vakoon ja Mesmerized foiled sävyä (5) inan verran edellisen alapuolelle. Tämän näköisen silmämeikin luomiseen ei todellakaan tarvita näin montaa luomiväri sävyä, mutta mulla oli inspiraation sekoitella sävyjä, niin niinhän minä myös tein :) Yksi tai kaksi häivytyssävyä plus tuo Brownie Points riittäisi myös vallan mainiosti. Lisäsin luomelle bhcosmetics x shaaanxo paletin kimaltavaa keskiruskeaa (6) ja sen päälle Makeup Geekin Anargy (7) sävyä. Sitten vielä korostukset silmän sisänurkkiin In the Spotlight foiled (8) sävyllä ja alaripsien alle sävyt Barcelona Beach (3) ja Brownie Points (4). Ja viimeisenä Corrupt (9) sävyä vain alaripsien alle ulkonurkista 1/4. Tämähän menee jo rakettitieteen puolelle! :D

Hi! I’m wearing Ofra cosmetics Aries liquid lipstick and in the last picture I’m wearing same brand’s liquid lipstick in the shade Charmed. Just that you don’t get confused about the color change. So this is the makeup look I was wearing in the Halloween glam with skull’s mouth makeup tutorial! You can easily turn this into that Halloween look, by taking the lipstick off and doing the whole skull’s mouth and contour on top of this look. Easy! Jotta ette ihmettele tätä yllättävää huulipuna vaihdosta kuvissa. Halusin vaan näyttää teille tämän lookin myös ton tummemman punan kanssa, koska mulla nyt sattu olemaan siitäkin kuvat. Tämä meikkilookki on siis se mikä mulla oli tuossa edellisessä Halloween glam with skull’s mouth luurangon suu meikkitutoriaalissa! Tästä meikkilookista voi niin helposti tehdä tuon halloween lookin, ottaen vain huulipunan pois ja luoden sen luurangon suun ja varjostukset tähän päälle. Helppoa! HALLOWEEN – GLAM WITH SKULL’S MOUTH MAKEUP TUTORIAL

Hi! Third Halloween makeup tutorial is here :) I was planning on doing something only in my mouth area and the rest would be all glammed normal makeup look. This is what I came out with! Last year I wore that half face skull look to our Halloween party and I really liked the mouth of that look. I wanted to something simpler and quicker, so this is the look :) So let’s get into the tutorial!

Hei! Kolmannen halloween meikkitutoriaalin aika :) Olin suunnitellut tekeväni yhdeksi halloween lookiksi tänä vuonna meikin, jossa ”halloween osuus” olisi vain suun alueella ja muu meikki olisi todella juhlallista normaalia meikkiä. Tällaista sain aikaiseksi! Viime vuoden Halloween bileisiin meikkasin sen puolinaama luurangon ja tykästyin sen lookin suu osaan. Halusinkin tehdä jotain sen tyylistä, mutta yksinkertaisempaa ja nopeampaa versiota. Tällainen siitä sitten tuli ja mennäämpäs sitten siihen tutoriaaliin!

First I did my makeup like I usually do it. I also did a makeup look post on this look in here, so you can recreate this exact look if you want to! All the products I used in this makeup look are also listed in the end of this post. So after you have done the base makeup (you can skip contour, blush and highlight) and the eye makeup, paint your mouth area white, using face paint.

Ensiksi tein normaalin meikkini, kuten sen normaalistikin tekisin. Tein tästä itse meikkilookista postauksen täällä, joten jos haluat luoda täsmälleen tämän lookin, voit kurkata myös tuon postauksen nähdäksesi miten tehdä tuo pohja- ja silmämeikki. Kaikki tässä lookissa käyttämäni tuotteet löydät myös tämän postauksen lopusta, kuten aina. Joten kun olet tehnyt normaalin meikin (ilman varjostuksia, korostuksia ja poskipunaa) ja silmämeikin, voit maalata kasvomaalilla suu alueen valkoiseksi.

Using small amounts of black face paint, first draw lines from your cheek to your mouth on both sides. Then add short lines from the first line up and down to create the places for the teethes. Then add longer lines from those short lines up toward the center of the teethes (like in photo 1 & 2). This will create the shape of the tooth’s root. Then add lines to create round shape to the teeth, where the top row touches the bottom row. So to the top teeth row that is on the bottom and on the bottom teeth row that is on the top (like in photo 3). Then use any buildable black eyeshadow to start to create length and shadow up fords (like in photo 4 I have done for couple of the top row’s teethes).

Käyttäen kerrallaan vain pientä määrää mustaa kasvomaalia, aloita piirtämällä viivat poskista suun sivuille (molemmille puolille). Sitten lisää lyhkäisiä viivoja vaakasuorasta viivasta ja huulista ylös ja alaspäin hampaiden äärirajoiksi. Tämän jälkeen tee lyhkäisistä viivoista pidempiä kääntäen viivaa hampaan keskiosaa kohden, luoden hampaan juuren muodon (kuten kuvissa 1 & 2). Lisää hampaiden kärkiin eli siihen päähän, jossa hampaat koskettavat yhteen pyöreää muotoa mustalla kasvomaalilla (kuten kuvassa 3). Sitten käytä mustaa pigmenttisyydeltään kerrostettavaa luomiväriä pidentääksesi hampaan juurta ja luoden hampaisiin varjoa (kuten kuvassa 4 olen tehnyt muutamalle ”ylähampaalle”).

After you have add length to the teethes with the eyeshadow, add that same black eyeshadow to the places where you would naturally have gums. Be carefully that you don’t put the eyeshadow where the tooth should be. Make the thinnest part of the gums the blackest and fade towards the widest part (like in photo 5). Then add black (with VERY light hand) or grey to the out of parts of the teethes to create dimension (like in photo 6). Now the mouth should look like in the photo 7. If you have make the root’s of the teethes too thing (with applying the black eyeshadow too far), you can now take the white face paint again and paint the roots more wide. You can see the difference that makes by comparing the pictures 6 and 8 (you can especially see it in the top teeth!).

Kun olet pidentänyt kaikkien hampaiden juuria ja varjostanut niitä luomivärillä, käytä tuota samaa mustaa ja lisää sitä paikkoihin, jossa ikenesi normaalisti olisivat. Ole tarkkana, ettet levitä mustaa ikenen paikan sijaan hampaan paikalle. Tee ikenen ohkaisemmasta kohdasta tummin ja häivytä sitä vaaleammaksi ikenen leveämpään kohtaan päin (kuten kuvassa 5). Sitten lisää mustaa (HYVIN kevyellä kädellä) tai harmaata hampaiden ulkoreunoille hieman valkoisen päälle, luoden varjostusta ja muotoa hampaalle (kuten kuvassa 6). Nyt suun pitäisi näyttää kuten kuvassa seitsemän. Jos olet levittänyt mustaa luomiväriä liian pitkälle valkoisen juuren päälle, voit nyt korjata sitä lisäämällä juureen lisää valkoista kasvomaalia ja näin saaden juuren enemmän esille. Voit nähdä tämän vaiheen aiheuttaman eron vertaamalla kuvien 6 ja 8 ylähampaiden juuria.

Paint the nose black with face paint and fade the top with black eyeshadow. Add “contour” from the teethes to your ear using first black eyeshadow and then blending it with grey eyeshadow. Also add shade to your face by using that same grey eyeshadow in the places you would normally add bronzer (especially on forehead and jawline). And the look is DONE!

Maalaa nenä mustaksi käyttäen mustaa kasvomaalia ja häivyttäen mustan nenän varsia mustalla luomivärillä. Lisää ”varjostus” hampaista korviin asti, lisäämällä ensin linjaksi mustaa luomiväriä ja häivyttämällä sitä sitten harmaalla luomivärillä. Lisää vielä varjostusta samalla harmaalla luomivärillä paikkoihin, johon normaalisti lisäisit aurinkopuuteria (ainakin otsaan ja leukaluun alle). Ja lookki on VALMIS!

VISITING TWISTBE STORE

Hello! So last time I was in Helsinki I went to visit TwistBe store, as well as I went to Lush’s bloggers event. I already told you about the Lush’s bloggers Christmas and Halloween event and now it’s time for part two from that trip. So as some of you might now, I nowadays love organic and more pure skincare. I have done some research of the ingredients in cosmetic in general and I have started to use especially more pure skincare. I founded this store in Helsinki on Instagram, run by three women and they only sell high quality “fresh, pure, organic, honest, beautiful – the way it’s supposed to be” cosmetics :) That’s their slogan. I complemented their “store concept” on Instagram and they invited me to come to visit their store. So last time I went to Helsinki I also visited their store and this is how it looks!

Moikka! Joten viime Helsingin reissullani vierailin Lushin Halloween- ja joulutuotteiden bloggaajaillan lisäksi TwistBe nimisessä liikkeessä blogiasioilla. Tämä on siis viime kertaisen Helsingin reissun “osa kaksi” postaus. Kuten jotkut teistä jo tietävät, olen lähiaikoina alkanut käyttämään enemmän orgaanisempaa ja puhtaampaa kosmetiikkaa, varsinkin ihonhoitotuotteita. Olen tehnyt tarkempaa tutkimusta kosmetiikan sisältämistä ainesosista ja halunnut testata sitä iholleni ”parempaa ja luonnollisempaa” kosmetiikkaa. Törmäsinkin instagramissa Helsingissä sijaitsevaan TwistBe liikkeeseen, jonka motto on ” fresh, pure, organic, honest, beautiful – the way it’s supposed to be” eli suomeksi jotakuinkin ”tuoretta, puhdasta, orgaanista, rehellistä, kaunista – niin kuin sen kuuluukin olla”. Ihastelin heidän liikkeen konseptia instagramissa ja sainkin kutsun tulla tutustumaan liikkeeseen :) Joten viime Helsingin reissulla vierailin heidän liikkeessään ja tältä se näytti!

They even have a closet full on only unscented products. How convenient is that for person who only wants unscented products or is allergic to them!

Liikkeessä oli jopa kokonainen kaappi täynnä vain hajusteettomia tuotteita. Kuinka kätevää asiakkaalle, joka haluaa vain sellaisia tuotteita tai ei voi esimerkiksi allergioiden takia käyttää hajusteita!

I was ready to eat these, but unfortunately they told me they were soaps, not food :( How cute!

Olin jo kysymässä voisinko syödä yhden tällaisen, mutta ne olivatkin saippuoita :( Mutta kuinka söpöjä sellaisia!

These are deodorant sticks! Looks like those popsicles I use to eat back when I was a kid :)

Nämä ovat siis deodorantti stickkejä! Näyttävät ihan niiltä pahvista pois työnnettäviltä mehujäiltä, joita söin lapsena :)

The softest towels! They also had a kid’s towel with bear ears in it :) I would want that in adult size, please :p

Pehmeimmät pyyheliinat koko maailmassa! Merkiltä löytyi myös näitä samoja pyyheliinoja hupullisena lasten kokoisina karhun korvilla :) Voisiko sellaisen saada aikuisten koossa?

This body scrub smelled so good and felt so amazing. Can I have this everyday too? But 25 euros for a body scrub is too much for me now. But maybe someday.

Tämä vartalonkuorinta tuoksui ja tuntui niin hyvältä. Voinko saada tätä niin paljon, että voisin käyttää sitä joka päivä? Mutta 25 euroa vartalonkuorinnasta on liikaa mun kukkarolle. Mutta ehkä joku päivä.

I got a goodie bag from my visit and I also bought couple of these things with my own money. I’m SO excited to test all of these out and I’m going to do reviews on the ones I like eventually :) So let’s jump into the products, shall we?

Sain vierailultani myös tuotekassin ja itsekkin ostin vielä omilla rahoillani muutaman tuotteen. Olen NIIN innoissani näiden testauksesta ja tulen tulevaisuudessa kirjoittamaan postauksia niistä tuotteista, joista todella pidin :) Joten mennäämpäs sitten niihin tuotteisiin, eikös?

Ekovista’s Bamboo charcoal konjac sponge was the first thing in the goodie bag. I have tried normal konjac sponge before and at first it was fantastic, but after a while it started to cause little bumps on my face. I don’t know, if it was the fact that konjac sponges are really hard to keep clean for longer than month and maybe I was just using it too long. But I’m going to keep this a go for a month and see, if it clears out my skin :)

Ekovistan Bambuhiili konjag sieni oli ensimmäinen kassissa ollut tuote. Se on suunniteltu erityisesti rasvoittuvalle- ja sekaiholle (täälläpäin kiitos!). Olen aiemmin kokeillut tavallista konjac sientä ja aluksi se teki ihmeitä iholleni. Kuitenkin parin kuukauden jälkeen iholleni alkoi ilmestyä pieniä näppylöitä, jotka hävisivät viikossa sienen käytön lopettamisen jälkeen. Olen miettinyt, että yksi syy tälle voisi olla sienen keräämän bakteerien määrä liian pitkässä käytössä. Ehkä siis käytin sientä liian kauan, koska ylitin kyllä suositusiän käytön aikana. Mutta annan tälle sienelle kuukauden mahdollisuuden ja katsotaan, joskos se tekee ihmeitä mun iholle vai ei :)

Flow kosmetiikka’s shaving soap . I have already tried this couple of times and it really prevents those red dots on your legs after shaving. That’s a really nice bonus! And Rabbit Mama’s Cup Cake soap! Look how cute <3 I just want to eat this, because it looks so good. This have olive oil, coconut butter, almond oil and grape seed oil in it. I put this on our bathroom to use as a hand soap first, because it looks so pretty. This really is more moisturizing soap than “the normal” soaps. And it last and last a LONG time. So I will keep using this and maybe someday I even write a whole post about this :)

Flow kosmetiikan sheivaus saippua. Olen kokeillut tätä nyt muutaman kerran ja yksi huippu juttu tässä on se, että tätä käyttäessä jalkoihini ei ilmesty niitä pieniä punaisia pisteitä karvojen ajosta. Hyvä bonus helpomman sheivauksen päälle! Toinen tuote on Rabbit Maman kuppikakku saippua! Katsokaa nyt kuinka söpö <3 Haluaisin vain syödä tämän, koska se näyttää niin syötävän hyvältä. Tämä sisältää oliiviöljyä, kookosvoita, manteliöljyä ja rypälesiemenöljyä. Laitoin tämän vessan lavuaarin päälle ensiksi käsisaippuana käytettäväksi, koska se nyt käy sisustus elementistä. Tämä on normaalia pumppusaippuaa kosteuttavampi käytössä ja ei kuivata käsiä normaalin saippuan tavoin. Ja tämä tulee kestämään ikäisyyden. Joten katsotaan mikä mun mielipide tästä on pidemmällä aikavälillä ja tuleeko tästä jopa kokonainen postaus jossain välissä :)

Alima pure’s lip tint in the shade Blackberry. I haven’t tried ether the brand or lip tint ever in my life, so new experiences here I come. Lauren Brooke cosmetiques botanical lip gloss in the shade Apricot. This color looks amazing!

Apeiron’s jojoba – tea tree oil is one of TwistBe’s most popular products. It should help with problematic skin. I have use this for couple of weeks now and it had help my skin so much! You’re definitely going to hear more about this later on :) Amazing!

Apeiron jojoba teepuuöljy on yksi TwistBe:n suosituimmista tuotteista. Tuote auttaa epäpuhtauksien nitistämisessä, kuitenkaan muuta ihoa kuivattamatta. Olen käyttänyt tätä nyt parisen viikkoa ja mun iho on paljon parempaan päin! Tulette varmasti kuulemaan tästä lisää myöhemmin :) Todella hyvä tuote!

Two samples I got and I’m really excited to try out that right one, which is more pure deodorant. It’s called Fine deodorant.

Kaksi näytettä, jotka sain ja innolla kokeilen kyllä tuota oikeanpuoleista deodoranttia, joka on puhtaampaa ja terveellisempää kehollesi. Nimeltään tuo on Fine deodorantti.

And the last thing in the package was a sweet! Spelt liquorice bar :) I ate this as soon as I got the picture taken and it was SO GOOD! Definitely buying more of these.

Then I bought these two with my own money. I had planned to buy vegan chocolate and some etheric oil, so that was what I bought :)

Nämä kaksi tuotetta ostin vielä omilla rahoillani. Olin suunnitellut ostavani vegaanista suklaata ja jotain eteeristä öljyä yöksi, joten nämä lähtivät vielä mukaani :)

Balm Balm’s calm all over balm. This has some etheric oil in it and I love this! I put this on my chest, neck and wrists before going to sleep to calm me down and this has helped me to fall in sleep. I now connect the sentence to sleeping and it really helps me to calm and to stop thinking about basically everything :p Next I want to get a pure etheric oil (not a balm) to use with this to intensify my sleeping. Hopefully I can found that in I love me fair!

Laitan tätä ennen nukkumaan menoa rintakehälleni, kaulaani ja ranteisiini ja tämä auttaa siis mua rauhoittumaan ja nukahtamaan. HALLOWEEN – DARKNESS AND VEINS MAKEUP TUTORIAL

Hi! Let’s go for creepier Halloween looks, shall we? :p White skin, darkness around the eyes and veins. Lots of veins. This year I wanted to do tutorials instead of just looks, so you could easily re-create the looks I did, if you wanted to. So I also have a step-by-step tutorial on this look and let’s start with it!

Moikka! Mennäämpäs sitten niihin kammottavampiin Halloween lookkeihin, eikös vaan? :p Kalpea iho, pimeyttä silmien ympärillä ja verisuonia. Paljon verisuonia. Tänä vuonna halusin tehdä teille tutoriaaleja pelkkien lookkien sijasta, koska halusin teidän pystyvän halutessanne luomaan nämä lookit myös itsellenne. Joten tein myös tästä lookista tutoriaalin ja aloitetaan nyt sen parissa!

I started by applying primer and my lightest foundation first. Then I pressed white aqua face paint on top of it and let it try for a minute. After that I set my face makeup with powder to make blending eye shadows on top of it easier, because I mostly used eyeshadow to create this look. In the top right picture, I added Mac’s paint pot (eyeshadow primer) around my eyes to make black eyeshadow pop more on top of it.

On the bottom left picture I started to add Makeup Geek’s black eyeshadow called Corrupt on top of the paint pot and fading it outwards. I took the black up to my brows and under my eyes I stopping the fading just above where my nose ends. Then I just intensified the black around my eyes and blended and blended. Then I added Makeup Geek’s Bitten (the dark red) around the bottom edges of the black color. I also used Mac’s Fix+ makeup setting spray on my brush to make the red more visible next to the black.

Aloitin halloween lookin tekemisen pohjustamalla kasvoni primerilla ja levittämällä sen jälkeen vaaleimman meikkivoiteen kasvoilleni. Sitten painelin valkoista kasvomaalia ympäri kasvojani ja annoin sen kuivua minuutin. Lopuksi vielä kiinnitin pohjan värittömällä irtopuuterilla. Käytän tässä lookissa paljon luomivärejä kasvoillani, joten puuterointi auttaa myös niiden häivyttämisessä. Ylhäällä oikealla olevassa kuvassa lisäsin silmieni ympärille Macin paint pot silmämeikin pohjustusainetta (tai peiteainetta), jotta saisin pian lisäämäni mustan värin paremmin esille.

Alhaalla vasemmalla olevassa kuvassa lisäilinkin sitten Makeup Geekin mustaa luomiväriä nimeltä Corrupt silmieni ympärille, häivyttäen ulospäin. Toin mustan värin aina häivyttäen kulmiini saakka, sekä silmien alla häivytyksen lopetin nenäni alaosaan. Sitten vain vahvistin mustaa sävyä silmieni ympäriltä sekä häivytin ja häivytin. Lopuksi vielä lisäilin Makeup Geekin Bitten sävyä (tummanpunaista) mustan värin alareunojen ympärille. Käytin sävyn kanssa siveltimessäni Macin Fix+ suihketta, jotta se erottuisi kunnolla mustasta.

Then I started to create the veins first with red aqua paint and then adding dimension with black aqua paint in the center of the veins. Then I used Makeup Geek’s eyeshadow Friend zone around the veins to create shadows and more realistic look to the veins. I also lightly used Bitten (dark red) between the veins to make the black, red and the veins look more as one. Lastly I connected the veins into the black around my eyes by using black face paint, Corrupt and Bitten. And painted the veins changing from red to black.

Sitten aloin luomaan verisuonia silmien alle punaisella kasvomaalilla ja lisäämällä suonten keskelle syvyyttä mustalla kasvomaalilla. Lisäilin Makeup Geekin Friend Zone luomiväriä verisuonten ympärille luoden varjostuksia ja enemmän todenmukaisen näköisiä suonia. Lisäsin myös Bitten luomiväriä (tummanpunaista) suonten väliin saadakseni mustan, punaisen ja vesisuonet sointumaan paremmin toisiinsa. Lopuksi yhdistin vielä suonet mustiin silmänympäryksiin käyttämällä mustaa kasvoväriä sekä Corrupt ja Bitten luomivärejä luodakseni suoniin liukuvärjäyksen punaisesta mustaan.

Then it was time for the lips! I used Make up for ever Aqua Rouge waterproof liquid lip color (dark red) in the center of my lips and faded that with Makeup Geek’s Bitten. I also added Friend Zone around the lips to create more messy looking mouth. Then I slightly used Corrupt on my forehead and jawline to create dimension. I also added some “body structure” onto my neck by doing one big “bone” up to down and little “bones” around that in same levels (not touching the middle one). And that’s it! All you now need is messy hair, ripped clothes and some attitude to pull this look together. And also white or black contact lenses would look super cool with this look, but like you can see, my blue eyes work well too.

Ja huulten aika! Käytin Make up for everin Aqua Rouge waterproof liquid lip coloria (todella tummanpunaista) huulteni keskellä ja häivyttelin sitä Bitten luomivärillä. Lisäilin huulten ympärille myös Friend Zone luomiväriä, luodakseni sottaisemman näköistä lookkia. Sitten sudin kevyesti vielä mustaa Corrupt luomiväriä otsani hiusrajaan ja leukalinjaan varjostuksen luomiseksi. Kaulaani loin samalla luomivärillä pitkän pystyluun ja sen molemmin puolin samoille tasoille ”pikkuluita” kaularangaksi, siten etteivät ne yhdistyneet keskellä olevaan luuhun. Ja meikki on valmis! Enää tarvitset vain sotkuisen tukan, rikki revenneet vaatteet ja asennetta lookin kantamiseen. Valkoiset tai koko mustat piilolinssit olisivat myös mahtavan näköiset tämän lookin kanssa, mutta kuten kuvista näet menevät myös tavalliset siniset silmät tämän lookin kanssa.
