Hi! Spring is coming and I’m feeling the more simple looks and also colorful looks :) Last week I showed you that green eye makeup look and today is time for more simple look! I have wanted to do a proper smoked winged eyeliner look for ages, but I still haven’t found the perfect products to do it with. And that is also more of a fall makeup look, so I thought I would do a lighter and simple version of the proper thing! :) And here it is <3 I fell in love with this look and I’m definitely doing this eye makeup again multiple times this year (off camera) :) Happy Sunday and hopefully we will see on the next post on Tuesday, when I’m telling you more about my visit on idhair’s hair show last week! Heissan! Kevät on kovaa vauhtia tulossa päin ja mulla on kova fiilis yksinkertaisempiin lookkeihin ja myös värikkäisiin silmämeikkeihin :) Viime viikolla näytin teille sen kirkkaan vihreän silmämeikki lookin ja tänään ajattelin sitten näyttää teille vähän sitä yksinkertaisempaa, josta olen lähiaikoina myös tykännyt kovasti! Olen halunnut jo pitkään tehdä sellaisen kunnon paksun ja tosi mustan sumuisen kissarajaus silmämeikin, mutta en ole vieläkään löytänyt siihen hyvin sopivia tuotteita. Ja toiseksi se on enemmänkin syksyinen meikkilookki, joten ajattelinkin tehdä tällaisen kevyemmän ja yksinkertaisemman sumurajauksen sen kunnon mustan rajauksen sijaan! :) Ja tällainen se sitten on <3 Mä itse rakastuin tähän silmämeikkiin ja aion ehdottomasti tehdä tämän silmämeikin uudestaan useaan kertaan tänä vuonna :) Iloista sunnuntaita ja toivottavasti me nähdään ensi postauksen parissa tiistaina, kun kerron enemmän mun viime viikkoisesta piipahduksestani idhairin hiusnäytöksessä! Hello! I was thinking what colored eye look should I do next, when my boyfriend said “do a light green look”. At first I was like naaah and thought green wouldn’t suite me or not atleast light green. But I thought I should challenge myself and do it anyway! Firstly I tried to do a light green halo eye with silver/white shimmer in the center, but it didn’t look good, so I put dark green over top the white shimmer to create a metallic dark green. And I love how this turned out! <3

What I have learned about makeup is that you don’t always succeed on the first time, but just keep changing and building the colors to make it look amazing :) It works for me atleast! This is how you get to know which colors works for you and which don’t! And in the end I absolutely loved this look and that’s the thing that matters the most. Moikka! Pähkäilin minkä sävyistä silmämeikkiä tekisin seuraavaksi, kun poikaystäväni sanoi että “tee vaalean vihreätä”. Ensiksi ajattelin naaah ja ettei vihreä sovi mulle tai ei ainakaan vaalean vihreä. Mutta ajattelin haastaa itseäni ja toteuttaa kuitenkin juuri sen vihreän lookin! Ensin yritin tehdä vihreää “halo eyes” tyyppistä silmämeikkiä vihreällä ja vaalealla/hopeisella kimaltavalla luomivärillä, mutta se näytti ihan hirveältä, joten laitoin tuon vaalean kimallevärin päälle tummanvihreää, jolloin sävystä tuli metallinen tummanvihreä. Ja oih että mä rakastin tätä lopullista silmämeikkiä! <3

Yksi seikka, jonka olen meikkaamisesta oppinut on se, että ensimmäisellä kerralla ei voi aina onnistua, mutta muuttamalla ja vahvistamalla sävyjä lookista tulee yleensä loppujen lopuksi hieno :) Tai mulla ainakin toimii tämä tekniikka! Näin opit mitkä sävyt toimivat yhteen ja mitkä sävyt toimivat sun kasvoilla ja sun silmille! Ja lopuksi sain tämänkin lookin muunnettua sellaiseksi, jota rakastin yli kaiken ja sehän meikkaamisessa on tärkeintä. Se että tykkää itse siitä lopputuloksesta ja tottakai myös se, että oppii matkan varrella aina lisää! :) Iloista sunnuntaita ja moikka aina seuraavaan kertaan asti :) – Mari

Hello! I don’t normally do soft cool tone looks, because cool tone eye makeup, looks good on my only when the eye makeup it’s also bold :D But I want to explore and try out more things in makeup, so here is one! Different at least. I used the Nyx’s Love Contours All palette for the first time and all the eye makeup is done with it :) Plus glitter lips with Nyx’s face & body glitter in 02 Rose. En normaalisti tee kylmänsävyisiä pehmeitä meikkilookkeja, koska kylmänsävyiset silmämeikit näyttävät mulla hyvältä ainoastaan kun silmämeikki on samalla todella rohkea tai tumma :D Mutta halusin vähän leikkiä ja testailla erilaisia juttuja meikkailussa, joten tällä mennään! Erilaista ainakin. Käytin myös ensimmäistä kertaa Nyxin Love Contours All palettia silmämeikissäni ja kaikki silmämeikin sävyt ovat siis tuosta paletista :) Plussana Nyxin face & body glitterillä sävyssä 02 Rose tehdyt huulet. Mutta nyt menen meikkaamaan, jotta saan teillekin seuraavaksi vähän värikkäämpää meikkilookkia :) Joten pysykäähän kuulolla! Moikka aina seuraavaan kertaan asti – Mari
