Hello! It is time to introduce and review my Morphe Brushes Elite collection brushes :) Before buying these I didn’t own any proper brushes. I only got some really cheap Ebay brushes that didn’t really work. I chose to buy these, because they have got so much good reviews on Youtube. Especially the Elite collection line. First I bought just few on BeautyBay to see if they were worth of the hype. They were and I decided to buy more. Morphe Brushes’ Elite collection line is limited edition, so getting some of the brushes isn’t so easy when you live in Europe. I also wanted to get the brushes, before they would sell out. Nowadays Morphe Brushes has an Elite 2 Collection, which is permanent and “approved version” of the Elite “1” collection. But the Elite collection brushes are even better quality brushes than Morphe’s other lines and that’s why they also cost little bit more. Lot of people say that these are as good (or some even better) as MAC’s or Sigma’s brushes, but only fraction of the price. I ordered couple more from BeautyBay and then I found out that cocktailcosmetics.co.uk had the E4, which was one of the brushes I wanted the most. After Christmas I had little bit of extra money and I was thinking between buying these brushes or a drawer for my up growing “makeup collection”. I thought that these brushes would be better investment now, because they would be gone someday soon, but the drawer wouldn’t. And I really wanted to have good tools to do my makeup. So I bought the brushes and now you can read more my thoughts about them in this post. Enjoy :)

Heippa! Nyt on aika esitellä ja vähän arvostella mun vuoden alusta ostamiani Morphe Brushes Elite collectionin meikkisiveltimiä :) Ennen näiden ostoa en omistanut kunnollisia meikkisiveltimiä. Multa löytyi vain jotain todella halpoja Ebayn siveltimiä, jotka eivät tehneet tehtäväänsä. Päätin ostaa juuri Morphe Brushes meikkisiveltimiä, koska olin katsonut niistä niin monia hyviä arviointeja Youtubesta. Varsinkin Elite collection sarjan meikkisiveltimistä. Ostin ensin BeautyBaystä testiin vain muutaman siveltimen nähdäkseni olisivatko ne kaiken sen hypetyksen veroisia. Kyllä ne vaan olivat ja päätin ostaa niitä lisää. Morphe Brushesin Elite collection linjan meikkisiveltimet ovat ”sesonkituote” eli limited edition sarja, joka ei pysy Morphen valikoimissa hirveän pitkään. Nämä siveltimet ovat merkin muita siveltimiä parempi laatuisempia ns. premium siveltimiä, jotka ovat hinnaltaan myös hieman muita linjoja kalliimpia, mutta laatu on verrattavissa esimerkiksi MACin ja Sigman siveltimiin, mutta hinta on näihin merkkeihin verrattuna vain murto-osa. Nykyään Morphelta löytyykin jo Elite 2 Collection, joka on “paranneltu” versio Elite “1” sarjasta ja se on myös jatkuva sarja eli saatavilla ympäri vuoden. Tilasin muutaman siveltimen lisää BeautyBaystä, kunnes löysin cocktailcosmetics.co.uk sta E4 siveltimen, joka oli yksi niistä siveltimistä, joita halusin eniten itselleni. Joulun jälkeen mulla oli vähän ylimääräistä rahaa, jolla halusin ostaa jotain vähän kalliimpaa. Pähkäilin ostaako näitä Elite collectionin siveltimiä vai meikkilaatikosto Ikeasta kasvavalle ”meikkikokoelmalleni”. Päätin tällä kertaa sijoittaa siveltimiin, koska niitä ei saisi välttämättä ostettua enään kuukausien päästä, mutta laatikostoja löytyisi kyllä Ikeasta myöhemminkin. Ja halusin käyttööni kunnon työkalut meikkaamiseen. Joten ostin meikkisiveltimet ja nyt voit lukea mietteitäni niistä tästä postauksesta. Nauti :)

Here is four face brushes for powder and foundation. E6, E48, E3 and E2.

Ensimmäisenä olisivat esittelyssä neljä kasvosivellintä puuterille ja meikkivoiteelle. E6, E48, E3 ja E2.

Morphe Brushes E6 is a flat dense kabuki brush. At first I forced myself to use brush for foundation instead of my fingers or beautyblender. Using a dense brush to put on foundation gives a better coverage and it gets better in the skin, instead of just sitting on top of my skin. Nowadays I really like to use this E6 to apply my foundation and then I use a help of a beautyblender if needed. I also got Morphe Brushes’ much raved M439 foundation brush yesterday (post about it in here), so we will see if that is as good as this!

Morphe Brushes E6 on littana suorapintainen tiheä kabuki sivellin. Aluksi pakotin itseni käyttämään sivellintä meikkivoiteen levittämiseen, tottumieni sormieni ja beautyblenderin sijaan. Tiheän meikkisiveltimen käyttäminen meikkivoiteen kanssa luo paremman peittävyyden ja koen myös saavani meikkivoiteen paremmin iholle, sen sijaan, että se vain istuisi kasvojeni päällä. Nykyään käytänkin vallan tätä E6 sivellintä meikkivoiteen kanssa ja tarvittaessa autan beautyblenderillä. Eilen sain vihdoin kotiin asti myös paljon kehutun Morphen M439 meikkivoide siveltimen (postaus siitä löytyy täältä), joten saas nähdä onko se yhtä hyvä kuin tämä!

Mun pieni silmienalus meikin kiinnittäjä sivellin <3 Ostin tämän siveltimen, jotta pääsisin kunnolla siveltimellä kiinnittämään peiteaineen puuterilla silmieni alta. Rakastan tätä yli kaiken ja en pystyisi enään elämään ilman tätä sivellintä :)

E3 was the first Morphe Brushes’ brush I bought and it is the best! I use this to set my whole face with powder. I also take this with me when I travel to use this with powder, for under eye setting, contouring, bronzing and with blush. It is so universal! Best travel buddy and powder applier.

E3 oli ensimmäinen Morphe Brushesin sivellin, jonka ostin ja on se vaan paras! Käytän tätä puuterin levittämiseen koko kasvoille. Tästä löytyy myös paras matkakaveri, koska tällä itse levitän matkoilla niin puuterin, silmienalus meikin puuterin, varjostukset, aurinkopuuterin sekä poskipunan. Monikäyttöinen työkalu! Paras matkakumppani ja puuterin levittäjä.

E2 is the brush that I use when I want to apply thicker layer of powder. E3 applies power more natural than this. It depends on my mood if I want to use this or E3, but you really just need one of these to be real.

E2 on se sivellin, jota käytän kun haluan levittää kasvoilleni paksumman kerroksen puuteria. E3 levittää kasvoille enemmän luonnollisemman näköisen puuteroinnin kuin tämä. Riippuen mielentilastani käytän joko tätä tai E3sta, mutta rehellisesti näistä tarvitsisi vain toisen.

My contour, blush and bronzing brushes. E53, E4 and E34.

Varjostukseen, poskipunaan ja aurinkopuuteriin käyttämäni meikkisiveltimet. E53, E4 ja E34.

I use E53 to contour with powder shades. This really makes blending so easy and tapered top allows you to do sharp contour line, if you want to do your contour like that (I do :p). I use this when I want to do that sharp line and E34 below when I want to do softer contour.

Käytän E53 meikkisivellintä varjostusten tekemiseen puuterimaisilla sävyillä. Tämä tekee varjostusten häivyttämisen niin helpoksi ja siveltimen suippo pää mahdollistaa terävän varjostuksen rajan tekemisen, jos sellaisen haluat luoda (kyllä kiitos :p). Käytän tätä nimenomaan noiden skarpimpien varjostusten tekoon ja E34 sivellintä alempana pehmeämpien varjostusten luomiseen.

My love one E4!! This was the brush I maybe waited the most and it’s brilliant. This applies blush so beautifully. I’m so in love with this, because it just creates the most beautifully flush of color on your cheeks. Definitely a must have!

Rakkaani E4! Tätä sivellintä odotin näistä kaikista eniten ja tämä on kyllä aivan paras meikkisivellin. Tällä poskipuna levittyy taianomaisen kauniisti. Rakastan tätä yli kaiken, koska se vaan luo maailman kauneimman värin häivähdyksen poskille. Ehdottomasti pakko-omistaa-tuote Morphelta!

E34 is the brush I use when I want to do softer contour or when I’m bronzing. The best for both purposes. This blends everything like a dream. Another must have! :)

Käytän E34 meikkisivellintä, kun haluan luoda sen pehmeämmän varjostuksen tai kun laitan aurinkopuuteria. Paras molempiin käyttötarkoituksiin. Tämä häivyttää kaiken niin kauniisti ja helposti. Toinen pakko-omistaa-tuote! :)

Here is all of my smaller brushes for eyeshadow, brows and for eyeliner.

Tässä näkyvät kaikki pienemmät siveltimeni luomiväreihin, kulmiin ja rajausten tekoon.

I use these for my eye makeup: M510, E32, E27, E18 and E17. M510 is from Morphe Brushes’ M colloction, but I wanted to show it in here, because I sometimes also use this as an eyeshadow brush. It is much harder than Elite collection’s brushes, but it’s still very good brush (EDIT. I nowadays love to use this for highlighting!) E32 is for packing on dark colors or putting color on the lower lashline, E27 is the best brush for blending transition shades, E18 is to blend colors on the lower lash line and E17 is good brush to apply more detailed colors on the lid and to crease. Last week I got E18’s handle to broke, but I glued it back on and it as good as new :p The softest eyeshadow brushes I have never touched <3 I also just bought E13 (post on it in here) and I hope it is as fantastic as these eye brushes are.

Silmämeikkeihin käyttämäni siveltimet: M510, E32, E27, E18 ja E17. M510 on Morphe Brushesin M-linjasta, mutta ajattelin laittaa sen tähän samaan, koska tämä on myös hyvä, tosin vähän kovempi harjaisempi, meikkisivellin luomivärin häivyttämiseen (EDIT. Rakastan nykyään käyttää tätä korostuksiin!). E32 on tummien värien laittamiseen luomelle sekä värin lisäämiseen alaripsien alle. E27 on mahtava muhkea häivytyssivellin, kun taas E18 toimii parhaiten alaripsien alla olevien värien häivytykseen. E17 käytän taas yleisti luomivärien laittamiseen luomelle ja matalammalle laitettavien värien laittoon. Viime viikolla onnistuin saamaan E18 siveltimestä kahvan irti, mutta liimasin sen takaisin ja nyt sivellin on taas yhtä hyvä kuin uusi :p Nämä ovat kyllä pehmeimpiä meikkisiveltimiä, mihin olen ikinä koskenut <3 Sain eilen myös hyppysiini E13 siveltimen (postaus siitä löytyy täältä) ja toivon sen olevan yhtä hyvä, kuin nämä muut silmämeikki siveltimeni.

E38 is a great brush to use with powder eyebrow colors. It’s maybe a bit too large for that purpose, but it still works fine for it! E11 is for making thin wing liners. Honestly, there are better eyeliner brushes than this out there. This brush’s bristles aren’t that tight in together, so you can’t make so thin lines.

E38 on hyvä sivellin kulmien tekoon, kun käytän puuterimaisia tuotteita. Kooltaan se on hiukan isohko tuohon tehtävään, mutta toimii silti! E11 sivellintä käytän taas rajausten tekoon. Rehellisesti, multa löytyy kyllä parempiakin rajaussiveltimiä, kuin tämä. Tämän siveltimen harjakset eivät ole niin tiiviisti yhdessä ja ehkä hieman liian pitkiäkin, joten ne hajaantuvat kun kevyesti painat sivellintä luomelle. Ja silloin lopputuloksesta ei saa niin ohutta.

So those were all of my Morphe Brushes Elite collection’s makeup brushes. I love these to death and I’m glad that I bought them. I’m still trying to get my hands on couple of the brushes. Pssst.
