Hello and happy Wednesday! I’m little bit late on this, but on the 23rd of November I went to Cutrin’s big hair show in Helsinki and I took some pictures of the event :) This was the same day I went to Sweed Lashes launch party (which I wrote about in here already). Unfortunately I wasn’t able to be in the Cutrin’s hair show that long or I would have missed the last bus to my home town :( That also meant that I missed Pete Parkkonen singing gig in Cutrin’s show! But the event was so beautiful and every single detail was planned out perfectly <3 Here you can see how the event looked like. Enjoy :)
Moikka ja iloista keskiviikkoa! Olen vähän myöhässä kirjoittamassa tästä tapahtumasta, mutta 23.marraskuuta käväisin Cutrinin massiivisessa hiusnäytöksessä Helsingissä ja otin sieltä muutamat kuvat tänne teillekin näytettäväksi :) Tämä näytös oli samana päivänä, kuin Sweed Lashesin lanseerausjuhlat (joista kirjoitin jo täällä). Valitettavasti en pystynyt olemaan näytöksessä kovin pitkään tai olisin myöhästynyt viimeisestä bussista Poriin. Tämä myös tarkoitti sitä, että missasin Pete Parkkosen esityksen Cutrinin näytöksessä! Mutta tapahtuma itsessään oli niin kaunis ja jokainen yksityiskohta oli mietitty aivan loppuun asti <3 Alla näet miltä tämä Cutrinin näytös sitten näyttikään. Nauttikaa :)

Hello! I want to continue with the Christmas products, so today I’m doing a makeup tutorial using the new ”Pretty in winter parties” Joe Blasco – party makeup 2017 collection, which in Finnish is called ”Kauniina talven juhlissa” collection. So in the collection Joe Blasco has gathered up some of their essentials for this year’s holiday season. They want to give the attention to the bright red lips, even up the skin tone and leave the skin glowy! There are two collections: one for younger people and one for adults. The products are basically the same, but only the shades variate.
Moikka! Halusin tänään vielä jatkaa joulutuotteiden parissa, joten tänään aion tehdä meikkitutoriaalin uudella Joe Blascon ”kauniina talven juhlissa” – juhlameikki 2017 kokoelmalla. Joe Blasco on koonnut tähän kokoelmaan heidän ”must have” tuotteita tämän loppuvuoden juhliin. Tänä vuonna he haluavat antaa suurimman huomion punaisille huulille, tasoittaa ihon sävyä ja jättää ihon hehkuvaksi! Kokoelmia löytyy kaksi: toinen nuorille ja toinen aikuisille. Tuotteet ovat käytännössä molemmissa kokoelmissa samat, mutta vain sävyt vaihtelevat.
You might remember some of my posts where I have used Joe Blasco’s makeup products and how I have found some hidden gems in them. Joe Blasco’s makeup – First impressions, Joe Blasco – Makeup and Joe Blasco fall 2017 trend makeup collection – Makeup tutorial. I got the opportunity to test out one of the collections and I chose the adult collection. So all of these Joe Blasco’s products are pr-samples*. The collection includes the next products : 5-in-1 BB cream (Medium), Orange highlight 1 (“color corrector” for dark circles on my skin tone), Pressed powder (no color), Dry blusher (Sweet Mocha), Lip pencil (Fire), Lip Glazz (Delilah) and Ultra pro mascara.
Saatat ehkä muistaa joitain mun postauksia, joissa olen kirjoittanut Joe Blascon tuotteissa ja niiden joukosta löytämistäni helmistä. Sain kunnian testata toista näistä uusista kokoelmista ja valitsin väreiltään mulle sopivamman eli aikuisten kokoelman. Joten kaikki tässä postauksessa nähtävät Joe Blascon tuotteet ovat saatu pr-näytteinä*. Kokoelma sisältää seuraavat tuotteet : 5-in-1 BB cream (Medium) bb-voide, Orange highlight 1 (“värinkorjaaja” tummille silmien alusille), Pressed powder (no color) väritön kivipuuteri, Dry blusher (Sweet Mocha) poskipuna, Lip pencil (Fire) huultenrajauskynä, Lip Glazz (Delilah) huulikiilto ja Ultra pro mascara.
So here you can see all the products and I’m especially so excited to try the bb cream and the pressed powder :) I already know that the orange highlight 1 is a really good color corrector under my eyes, because I have used this product for the past six months or so and I think the blush is going to be bomb anyway <3 So let’s see what I created with these products! I of course focused on the red lips and did a softer look on the eyes and base :)
Tästä kuvasta näet kaikki kokoelman tuotteet ja olen erityisen innoissani testaamassa varsinkin tuota bb-voidetta ja väritöntä kivipuuteria :) Tiedän jo etukäteen, että tuo Orange Highlight 1 on todella hyvä värinkorjaaja silmien alusille, koska olen käyttänyt tätä tuotetta jo puolisen vuotta ja tuo poskipuna nyt vaan näyttää sävyltään jo aivan mahtavalta <3 Joten kurkataanpas sitten mitä mä tarkemmin näillä tuotteilla loin! Kokoelman teeman mukaan mä tietenkin keskityin punaisiin huuliin sekä tein kuulaamman meikkipohjan ja hennomman silmämeikin :)
That’s it! I mixed the bb cream with white foundation, because the bb cream was so dark for me on its own, so I can’t say how the formula is on its own. BUT I really liked the mixed bb cream/white foundation formula on my skin! Light coverage, but I’m digging that :) The pressed powder was really fine and colorless, so I’m really excited to keep using it! Orange highlight 1 is of course a good product and the blush was STUNNING <3 I have to keep using the other products to have an opinion on those, but the lip pencil and lip glazz are sure pigmented!
This collection for me was a big hit! So go Joe Blasco <3 I’m intrigued to see what they came out with next :) Happy Sunday and bye bye till next time – Mari
Ja siinä se oli! Sekoitin bb-voiteen valkoisen meikkivoiteen kanssa, koska tuo medium sävyinen bb-voide oli yksinään aivan liian tumma mun iholle, joten en voi antaa kommenttia siitä millainen tuon tuotteen koostumus on yksinään. MUTTA mä todella tykkäsin tuosta sekoituksen koostumuksesta mun iholla (bb-voide & valkoinen meikkivoide)! Kevyt peittävyys, mutta mä tykkään :) Väritön puuteri oli todella hienojakoista ja oikeasti väritöntä, joten käytän tätä jatkossakin innolla! Orange highlight 1 oli totta kai hyvä ja poskipuna ÄLYTTÖMÄN kaunis <3 Muiden tuotteiden käyttöä mun täytyy vielä jatkaa, jotta osaan sanoa niistä mielipiteeni, mutta tuossa huultenrajauskynässä ja huulikiillossa oli kyllä paljon pigmenttiä!
Tämä kokoelma oli mulle suuri hitti! Joten go Joe Blasco <3 Mä odotan innolla mitä he seuraavaksi julkaisevat :) Iloista sunnuntaita ja moikka aina seuraavaan kertaan asti – Mari

Hello! Couple weeks ago I went to Sweed Lashes launch party to celebrate their brand coming to Finland in Kicks stores. Sweed Lashes has been available for Finnish makeup lovers on eleven.fi for a while now, but now you can finally get these in stores! Sweed Lashes has about 20 different lash styles and the prices variate from 13 to 20 euros : normal lashes from 13 to 15 euros and 3D-lashes from 15 to 20 euros. Kicks doesn’t have all of the lash styles yet, but hopefully they will have all of the styles on sale soon. But let’s see how the event looked like <3
Moikka! Olin pari viikkoa sitten Sweed Lashes – lanseeraustilaisuudessa juhlimassa brändin tulemista myyntiin Suomeen Kicks-liikkeisiin. Sweed Lashes merkin ripset ovat olleet jo hetkeen aikaa suomalaisten meikkien rakastajien saatavilla eleven.fi verkkokaupassa, mutta nyt näihin pääsee vihdoin konkreettisesti käsiksi liikkeissä. Sweed Lashes merkiltä löytyy noin 20 erilaista tekoripsityyliä, joiden hinnat vaihtelevat 13 eurosta aina 20 euroon asti : normaalit ripset 13-15 euroa ja 3D-ripset 15-20 euroa. Kicksiltä ei vielä löydy myynnistä kaikkia tyylejä, mutta toivottavasti ne loputkin vielä tulevat piakkoin myyntiin. Mutta kurkataanpas miltä tuo itse tapahtuma näytti <3
The table setup at the event was so beautiful and there were a Sweed x by Terry cookie box filled up with lashes waiting for their future owner on every sitting place <3 Just look at all of those amazing looking sweets! We also had the pleasure to meet the co-founder of Sweed Lashes, Gabriella Elio and hear her telling about the lashes she have created. Such a beautiful and inspiring women! Ida_elina also showed us how she applies false lashes and Henry Harjusola was her model in this event :) You can see some pictures of Gabriella and Ida_elina below.
Nämä esillepanot jokaisessa pöydässä olivat kyllä NIIN kauniit ja jokaisella istumapaikalla oli myös Sweed x by Terry keksirasia täynnä ripsiä odottamassa uutta omistajaansa <3 Katsokaa nyt noita kaikkia ihania herkkuja! Meillä oli myös ilo ja kunnia tavata Sweed Lashesin perustaja Gabriella Elio sekä kuulla hänen kertomanaan lisää Sweed Lashes ripsistä. Niin kaunis ja inspiroiva nainen! Ida_elina näytti myös meille kuinka hän henkilökohtaisesti kiinnittää irtoripset ja ripsimallina tapahtumassa toimi Henry Harjusola :) Näet alempana kuvat Gabriellasta sekä Ida_elinasta.
In November of 2017 Sweed Lashes released their collaboration with by Terry and they created three false lashes styles (including one 3D false lash style) and some individual lashes. We got to try any lashes we wanted to in the event and I wanted something dramatic, so we went with the new Sweed Lashes x by Terry – Terryfic 3D lashes! These sure are hella dramatic & long on my eyes and these looked stunning on Henry’s hooded eyes too, so I’m impressed. I also got lot of lashes to test out at home, so you will be seeing those on makeup tutorials and other posts later on! Next you can see some makeup and outfit photos of the look I was wearing on the event <3
Marraskuussa 2017 eli juuri ennen tätä tapahtumaa, Sweed Lashes julkaisi yhteistyömallistonsa by Terry – merkin kanssa, joka sisälsi yhteensä kolme ripsityyliä (sisältäen yhden 3D-tyylin) sekä paketillisen yksittäisiä irtoripsiä. Saimme tapahtumassa testata mitä vain esillä ollutta mallia ja minä tietenkin halusin jotain dramaattista, joten kokeiluun lähtivät uudet Sweed Lashes x by Terry – Terryfic 3D ripset! Kyllä, nämä olivat todella dramaattiset & pitkät mulle ja nämä samat Terryfic ripset näyttivät upeilta myös Henryn raskaammilla luomilla, joten mä olen vakuuttunut. Sain todella monen tyyliset ripset kotiin vietäväksi, joten tulette taatusti näkemään näitä tulevissa meikkitutoriaaleissa sekä muissa postauksissa! Seuraavaksi näette vähän millaista meikkiä ja asua mulla oli päällä itse tapahtumassa <3
In the event I also got to hung out with Erika Naakka (Nude – blog) and Miia Ezen (#miikkulaisen – blog), who are incredible women to say the least! I also just noticed in this picture, that we were a little bit of a “Red Lips Team” :D And huge thank you to Miia for taking pictures of me! Finally I have some pictures to show to you of my makeup and outfit from a event I went to! <3
Tapahtumassa oli onneksi monet tutut ihmiset, koska matkaan tuli lähdettyä yksin täältä pidemmältä. Lyöttäydyinkin samaan seuraan Erika Naakan (Nude – blogi) ja uuden tuttavuuden Miia Ezenin (#miikkulaisen – blogi) kanssa ja nämä naiset ovat kyllä upeita niin ulkoisesti, kuin sisäisesti! Huomasin vasta nyt tästä kuvasta, että mehän oltiin aika selkeästi ”Punaiset huulet – tiimi” :D Ja suuri kiitos Miialle mun kuvaamisesta!
